Let me start by just saying that some establishments just need to offer wifi even if its just to friends and family. I’ve been trying to persuade the owner of Vida Y Vino to get a wireless router so we can get online and do stuff. We patronize her wine bistro enough that I think she can afford the dent in her pocket to shell out the measly 50 bucks for a wireless router. I even offered to set it up securely so that only her friends and family could use it for the time being.
Ok, maybe I’m being a little overzealous and anxious to feel connected when I go out. As if blogging from my iPhone wasn’t connected enough, I’d like to get online through my laptop so that others can blog, too. And now I’m getting to the topic here - Blog Party! We are all just lounging around here on the ultra comfortable suede couches blogging to our hearts content. While my friend, Akire, is blogging from a “disconnected” laptop and making crude noises and cuss words at it like it will understand, I’m just sitting here with my trusty iPhone blogging away to all of you fine folk. I think its so funny how something becomes something of a fad. One person has the idea to do something and then everyone else wants to do it too. Don’t get me wrong because what I’m trying to say is that its a good thing that friends follow friends. I just wanted to see what it was like to play around with the idea of having a blog and then Phoenix decides the same. All
along, Vivien had one for many years prior but had never used it. So now she blogs too. So not only is it a good thing due to blogging being an expressive medium but now we get to learn from each other and be each other’s circle of support. To those who are reading this, thank you even if I’m not the very best of writers. I hope you leave comments and feedback so that I can improve the formulation of my topics and words.
If, by chance, you are reading this through a link from myspace, thank you again and wont you take me up on the suggestion to create your own blog. We can broaden the circle of support and share in our ramblings, rants and raves.
A daydream is a meal at which images are eaten. Some of us are gourmets, some gourmands, and a good many take their images precooked out of a can and swallow them down whole, absent-mindedly and with little relish. One man's daydreaming is another man's day.

I think every consumer outlet that has a “sit down and relax” atmosphere should provide free wifi to all their customers. And yes, I stress the word free. Going a little off topic here, Starbucks will soon be swtiching to AT&T instead of T-Mobile and while their package is way more affordable, places like Panera Bread, other coffee shops and even grocery outlets are providing FREE wifi to their customers, why can’t we? Something like free wifi should be a great incentive to bring more people to a place of business!

I always feel a little “pretentious” having a laptop in public.Hahaha!! We all can’t be discreet and have iphones like some people..ahem..
But you’re right, it’s a great medium and fun too. Once you figure out the “theme” of your blog; its a lot easier..
Sometimes, I think I blog too much…
